24Seven Sailing is a youth-focused sailing academy specializing in long-term sailor development rather than short-term courses. We work primarily with children and teenagers aged 8–16, guiding them from their first experience on the water through structured learning, regular training, and competitive sailing pathways.
Our approach is competency-based and progression-driven. This means children are assessed on how independently and confidently they can sail, make decisions, and manage themselves on the water — not just on age, hours spent, or race results. As sailors improve, coaching support reduces and autonomy increases, building confidence and ownership.

The Open Skiff Fleet
The O'pen Skiff has also ruffled the feathers of the traditional race scene, with race formats and simplified rules that focus more on fun, sportsmanship, and improvement, than just race results. Innovative courses and rules, on-water refereeing, and even freestyle encourage participation and a variety of sailing skills.
As a result, the O'pen Skiff Class has seen rapid growth in many European countries, USA, Australia, New Zealand, as well as others.
The O'pen Skiff has become the go-to junior sailboat in several countries where sailing interest has been stunted by 60 year old boat designs and over emphasis on elite competition.

At 24Seven Sailing, we are proud to have Captain Amish Ved at the helm, fondly known by all as "The Captain of the Seas and the Skies." His love for adventure and passion for the open water have made him an inspirational figure in the world of sailing.
With years of experience navigating both the seas and the skies, as a former world champion, Asian Games Winning Coach and Former Performance Sailing Chair for the Country, Captain brings a unique perspective to sailing. His deep knowledge of sailing, coupled with his enthusiasm for teaching, ensures that everyone, from beginners to seasoned sailors, feels confident and ready to take on new challenges.
Captain’s approach to training focuses on encouraging sailors and coaches of all ages to embrace the joy of the sport while mastering essential skills. Whether you’re a child just learning the ropes or an adult refining your techniques, Captain’s calm guidance and infectious passion for sailing will help you find your sea legs in no time.
